Gestational diabetes is a kind of diabetes that is found when a woman is pregnant and she has never been diagnosed with it ever before.

This risks you and your baby. The woman might need to undergo a caesarean operation and also the chances of high-blood pressure increases. This also increases the risk for the child as it could result in breathing problems, thereby making heavier than the other children, making the delivery more difficult. He might also suffer from low blood glucose.

If you have been diagnosed with this problem, then proper medication and care is essential. Follow proper food plan and avoid sweets. Incorporate your daily routine with a healthy proportion of physical activities like walking and swimming. Also, be sure to keep a check on your glucose levels. Motherhood is a delightful period; enjoy it while taking due care of yourself and your baby.

They should be therefore assisted by the older people. They may not have proper understanding on the different dose prescribed by the doctors. Children commonly take sweets and candies and therefore parents should control their eating.

Parents should take them for regular medical check-ups to have their blood sugar level tested. The children and teenagers inclusive should be given proper meals at the correct time and must be restricted according to the plan. Guide the children to do a lot of exercise to maintain their blood level. This could be swimming, sport activities like playing football. This enhances the growth and development in children. They should also be given low fatty foods: avoid giving them fried foods such as fries but instead, introduce other healthy foods and fruits. The parents should explain to the children the importance of their diet.

Patients suffering from Diabetes 1 can be treated using insulin hormone; however, patients with Diabetes type 2can also use it. In the past, animal insulin was administered to the patients but research has clearly recommended human insulin as the best therapy. There are many ways in which human insulin can be taken.

Before giving insulin to a patient, it is medically required for the doctor to check the amount of sugar in the blood system of the patient. Some will require insulin that works within a short time while others require long lasting insulin. This should be balanced properly. Insulin can either be inserted or through injections. All these methods have different effects on the patient like some patients may have an allergy after having an injection.

Scientists have improvised an insulin pump which is less painful with very minimal negative effects. The instrument is known as a catheter and is introduced into the patient’s body. This is done before taking meals.

Thus, you should be careful about noticing any diabetes related symptoms or warnings that your body might be throwing. If you are feeling extremely thirsty or have problems of frequent urination, you should get your blood sugar levels tested. Blurred vision, drowsiness, sudden weight loss etc can also lead to diabetes. Hence, it is essential to consult a doctor if you face any of such warning signs. Diabetes is hereditary. Hence, if your parents are diabetic, you stand a high chance of inheriting the same. Lethargy also leads to diabetes.

Extreme irritation and rage generating feelings also signal towards your inability to generate insulin in body. Diabetes can also lead to increased fatigue. Hence, you should be careful of the same. Neuropathy is also a symptom towards diabetes. If you feel numbness setting in your hands and limbs, your blood sugar level might be high. Other symptoms like itchiness and cuts taking longer time to heal also point towards occurrence of diabetes in your body.

The fact that insulin cannot pass the glucose effectively into the blood cells and it remains in the blood stream can create life-impacting situations. Today, there are many herbs that are used for the purpose of treating diabetes. Yes, there are the pharma labs and injections and pills but overall, the natural remedies are just as poignant.

An oriental Himalayan herb called ashwa gandha is considered very effective against diabetes. It lowers blood sugar and also triggers insulin production to a small extent.

Indian Kino and Malabar Kino are very effective against diabetes too. Flavonoid present in the tree bark prevents damage to the pancreatic beta cells. The same function is also performed by epicatechin and extracts of alcohol in crude form. Cherukurinja or Silvestre is another herb wholesomely used for the purpose of diabetes treatment. Even onion and garlic are known to hold fort against the heightening of blood sugar.

Diabetes or hyperglycemia can be quite life threatening. Overindulgence in diet at such times can be really fatal. While the doctors prescribe a lot of injections and pills, it is the exercise regimen and moderation in food intake which saves the day for a diabetic.

Diabetes mellitus results from an overdose of sugar in the blood stream and hence it is important to resist saccharine. It is also important to shy away from anything that increases urea and creatinine in the body as kidney is very quickly affected by diabetes. You should also know of the allergies of your nervous system as they are also prone to diabetic attacks.

Diabetes creates cardiovascular problems too. This is why it is important to resist transfat and saturated fat. These create cholesterol of low density and diabetic patients are already vulnerable to heart frights. Sugar free tea falls within the regimen of a diabetic.
